More Birthday Parties!!

We went to our cousins (my niece and nephew) birthday party this past weekend. Joshua turned six years old and Macy turned one!! Macy had a cute little lady bug party and Joshua had an Auburn party. Here are a few pics.

This was before the cake.

She started out with a little bit of the pink icing. When it was time to blow out the candle she slapped it with her hand and it went right out. It was pretty hilarious!

She found out quickly that icing is very yummy!

She's really digging in now.

Then, she started to throw the cake on the ground.

Lovely.

A few hours later we celebrated Joshua's party so everyone had their Auburn attire on.

Joshua and Camden

I took a quick pic of Carter during the prayer. Glad to know they close their eyes at least some of the time.

Joshua and his football cake!

The Braves....another season

It's here. Baseball is back. The boys are playing on the same team for the Fall and I'm soooo glad! It definitely makes it a ton easier. Carter is playing up so I'm hoping it'll be a great experience for him. The Braves!! Woo Hoo!

For some reason my kids think they need to strike a pose when they see me coming with the camera. Wonder why?

Carter, following his brothers lead.

Camden mostly plays first base.

Little late, but good swing.

Carter was excited to put on the catcher's equipment. I thought he looked so cute!!

Teeth Pullin'

Today was the big day. Camden had to have 2 teeth pulled because his bottom teeth are pretty crowded. The dentist said that it would allow the others to spread out a little for now. All three kids will need braces at some point. There's a huge chunk of money we'll be dishin' out in a few years.

I was really scared for him but he did amazingly well. He was very brave and apparently he didn't even feel the shots. Thank Heavens. I tried to warn him, in a sugar-coated way, that it would hurt a little but I was wrong. I didn't wanna freak him out but I didn't wanna lie to him either. It worked out. This teeth pullin' thing was really no big deal at all.
Here they are. Roots and all.

First Day of School

First Day of School. Wow, I can't believe I have one in second grade, kindergarten, and in preschool. Thankfully, my boys were very excited about school. No tears, even from me. I'm not a very emotional person, usually, but I think it's probably gonna hit me the most next year when they all three are in school. That will be depressing, I'm sure.

I remember thinking that it was the beginning to the end when Camden started school, and that was 2 years ago. Where in the world did the time go? My babies are getting bigger and I'm getting older. It stinks. It really does. I have to try and remind myself to make the most of every moment with them.

Carter had to make an "All About Me" poster for school. Here are a few things he wrote about.

Favorite Food: Chicken

Favorite Thing To Do: Ride Roller Coasters and Water Slides

Favorite Place To Go: Waterville

La La Land

We went to Disney World (Thanks to Thomas's parents!) right after Christmas last year and had the greatest time. Hopefully, when I can find the time, I would love to go back and blog about our trip. I absolutely can't wait to go back again...as soon as possible. It really is "La La Land" over there.

This picture was taken at the Animal Kingdom. Those face painters did an amazing job and I love this picture. Just thought I would share it.

Strep Throat Again??

My sweet girl is sick with Strep Throat for the fourth time this year. Where is this coming from?
Thankfully, my kids don't get sick at all like they use to. I can remember when I would make multiple trips to the doctor's office in one week. Now, we really don't need to go that often. But, for some reason, this bacteria keeps coming back to attack. Caley has been the victim.
