[As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15]

Thanksgiving....Auburn...and the DOMINATOR!

We had a wonderful, and busy, Thanksgiving this year.  Breakfast Thursday morning at my parents house with my mom's side of the family, lunch with my Grandmother Morrow (my dad's mom) and the family, and then drove to Adairsville, GA for dinner with the Busby's.

I mentioned before that my mom has been losing weight, well now she's lost over 100 pounds!!!!  I have never, in my life seen her look like this!  It's so amazing and I'm so incredibly proud of her.  She's only 10 pounds away from her goal!!

My parents have "Rock Band" at their house so it pretty much consumes my kids whenever we're there.

Camden loves to sing!  My kids have the words to "Eye of the Tiger" and "Livin' on a Prayer" memorized.  It's pretty hilarious listening to 'em!

Joshua has become the guitar master.  He's so much better than me and  I seriously think he could take on anybody.

Carter asked for "Rock Band" for Christmas but I told him we would just settle for playing it at Nana and Grampy's.  I don't think my kids would ever take their eyes off the TV if we had it at our house.  "Guitar Hero" is enough for us.

My parents.

For lunch we headed over the Muscle Shoals to my grandmother's house.  Carter and Joshua bumped into each other which helped Carter's tooth come out.  One little tug and out it went.

This is my Grandmother Morrow and all the girls.  She was so excited to have all the family at her house this year for Thanksgiving and I'm so glad we could come!!

This is my dad's brother and sisters.... my uncle Tommy, Aunt Diann, Grandmother, Aunt Myra, and dad.

The Busby's kept our kids for us this weekend so that Thomas and I could have a weekend to ourselves.  First stop, Auburn University for the Iron Bowl.

It was crazy that day for sure but it was a great game!  We took a loss but it was definitely worth going to.  I don't think we've been to an Auburn game by ourselves since Camden was little.  We had a great time and I already can't wait until next year.

We spent the rest of the weekend in Atlanta and did a little Christmas shopping.  Saturday night we went to see the movie, "The Blind Side", which I highly recommend!!  It was great!

The kids were having a fantastic time while we were gone.  This is their "Little Debbie" car that stays at the Busby's.  Oh how we love Little Debbie cakes!!!  Pop works for Little Debbie so we always get to bring home yummy cakes and treats when we visit!

Thomas used Little Debbie Nutty Bars to get me to go out with him in college.  He knew they were my favorite so he'd bring them over on occasion.   It worked!!

Granny took Caley to a nail salon to get their fingernails and toenails done.  She LOVES getting them painted!!  Granny knows how to spoil her. :)

Cute little snowmen on her fingernails.

The kids were totally surprised to find this car parked at their house.  Pop bought the "Dominator" for the kids to ride on and it was a hit for sure!  They absolutely love it and can't wait to go back for more!!

The kids took turns riding with Poppy.

I'm not sure when they'll be ready to ride on it by themselves....of course they wanna make it go as fast as possible.

Poppy and Carter.

Even Caley loved it!

But, I'm not sure who really liked it more....Poppy and Thomas, or the kids.  :)

This is what they do when we're not there.  :)

This is one of the 6 blow-ups in their yard right now.  Caley likes the penguin because it's just her size!!  Can't wait for Christmas!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Jingle Bell Fun Run

Thomas decided, last minute of course, to run in the 5K Jingle Bell Run on Sunday.  That little stink...he hasn't run in over 6 weeks and ended up placing 5th in his age group and 43rd overall.  I told him that if he actually trained he would probably do really well.

The boys ran the little one mile fun run.  Don't they look so cute with the're little numbers on their shirts.  I love it.

These are some of our friends that ran.  Starting from the left....Courtney, Douglas, Justin, Thomas, Ryan, and Kellie.

Thomas and  David, a co-worker/friend.

Caley begged to run but I told her that she could try it next year.

Interesting fact about llamas.....they Spit!!!

We took the kids to the Birmingham Zoo on Saturday....last minute and random...two words that go hand-n-hand with the Busby's.   We had a great time and the weather was perfect.
I loved taking pictures of the animals, especially the ones I could see up close.  They really do amaze me.

Even the pink flamingos, so pretty to look at.

Here's the crew.

My favorite...the giraffes.

I could have watched 'em all day.

We took a little break for a while and watched the lions.  Didn't get any good pictures but I was so glad they were right in front of us playing, behind the glass.

 And the zebras...so pretty.

It's kind of crazy though, because our favorite time was with the farm animals.

Look how sweet the pretty white llama looks.

He's got some pretty crooked buck teeth, but seems friendly.

See, he's smiling.

Thomas thought he would try and talk to it a little.

Looks like the llama wants to give him a kiss.

Wrong!!  Splat.....right in his face!!  That llama spit right all over his face!!  It was, by far, the highlight of our trip!  Hilarious!!  There were little pieces of straw and a dead bug on Thomas' face afterwards.   I laughed so hard and the kids did too.  We all saw it!!  Wish the pic wasn't out of focus but I had to show it anyway.

Guess he was getting pay back for being on his blackberry while we were there.  :)

We had fun.  You never know where we'll go next.

My Little Indian

Tonight, Carter's Kindergarten class performed  a Thanksgiving Program at the PTA meeting.  He was a cute little indian.  He did have one line....."Do you know what happened on the first Thanksgiving?  We do."

So cute!!
