Splash Blast Lagoon

We bought this water slide a couple of years ago and at the time it was the perfect size for them. Now, I think they've slightly outgrown it a little, with the exception of maybe Caley. They still had a blast with it and I'm sure they'll be begging to get it out everyday for the rest of the summer.

Grillin' Out by the Pool

Ben, Anna, the triplets, Anna's brother-Andy, and his wife-Bethany, came over to the pool to grill some dinner. The kids had a blast swimming and it was the perfect night to just relax and sit by the pool. It really felt wonderful outside.

The boys have desperately needed a new pair of goggles because apparently the cheapos don't last very long. They were excited to test out their new ones.

The boys love when Thomas throws them up in the air.

So So cute!

Noah loves riding on his daddy's back.

My fam hanging out by the steps during rest break.

Carter's goggles are so much better!

Noah and Bailey decide to get brave on go down the slide. They didn't go for seconds but they did really good!

Caley is finally swimming in the pool with her arm floaties. We are still making progress and I hope to get her swimming under water before summer is over. Atleast she's not afraid to get her face wet anymore.

Bailey and Abbie both did great with their floaties!

Go Abbie!

They are gonna be little fish by this times next year.

Triplets Third Birthday Party

We celebrated our triplet nieces and nephew's 3rd birthday at Chuck E. Cheese this year. It's so hard to believe that they're just not babies anymore. Their party was obviously a hit with my kids!! Pizza, cake, and games. Who could ask for anything more? We had a great time!

Bailey

Abbie

Noah

They did so good being brave when Chuck E. came around. I think they were a little scared of him at first, especially Noah, but they made it just fine for the birthday song.

They each had their own special cake. So cute!

Caley hid under the table the whole time Chuck E. was out. She was apparently scared of him.

Six Flags over Georgia

We took the kids to Six Flags for the day on Wednesday and I have one word to describe our day....HOT. We had a great time but the sun was not being very kind to us that day. It was really almost miserable at times but we made it fine and the kids had a blast.
Granny, Pop, Paige, Rodney, and the kids got to go as well. This was Paige and Rodney's second trip that week. They loved it so much they wanted to go back for more and we are so glad they did! The Busby's were such good sports and were such a great help!! It's always easier when you have family with you on these little adventures!
I didn't get very many pictures because it was so hot but here are a few!
This was at "Splash Falls." I sat out this one to get a few pics. I'm so glad I did because they got soaked. Camden doesn't get too excited about roller coasters like Carter but he'll come around and eventually love 'em, I think. So he and Caley sat this one out too.

Pretty wet!

"Goliath" is the roller coaster in the middle. I can't believe I actually rode it! Thomas thought I was gonna pee in my pants but I did good....even held my arms up the entire ride. It was definitely the scariest roller coaster I've ever been on. Joshua and Marah both rode about everything they could. They aren't a bit afraid of rides!! I couldn't believe how brave they were!!

This kind of ride was more Camden's style. But he did ride one roller coaster. I was proud. He ever did the big swings, which he was very hesitant about. At the end of the rides he aways wanted to go back again. He just needs to get a little warmed up.
Our little "dare-devil". I think he dreams about roller coasters every night.
We spent a little time at the water park but honestly it was just too hard to keep up with all the kids. It stressed us out a little so we didn't stay there too long.
Great trip, but maybe we'll pick a better time of the year to go next time.

Who Needs A Buzz?

The boys decided they wanted their hair buzzed off so I did it. Not very professional looking but it gets the job done. Thomas makes me cut his hair and the boys hair just to save a little money. I'm surprised he wants me to considering I put a lightning bolt in his head on accident when we were in college. Hopefully their hair will feel good for the summer!!

I think it's safe to say we'll be spending a ton of money on braces in the future.

Water Fights at the Splash Pad

We usually go several times during the summer to the splash pad (that's what I call it) downtown. The kids have a blast, especially when they have friends to play with. The kiddos ask to bring cups every time and they love dumping water on each other.

The boys had water fights pretty much the whole time. Josh, a friend of Carter's, fits right in!

Caley bug did a lot better this year. She was a little skiddish about the fountains last year but thankfully she's over it!

Lawson and Jordan...cutie patooties!

My boys had fun trying to get their cups to stay in the air.

Luckily, I didn't get splashed this time!

A few of you had asked how to do the layout of the pictures. I did them all on picnik.com. Just click on collages. If you haven't been there, take a peek sometime. You can do all sorts of things with your pictures!
